Workers’ Compensation Safety Program

All Colorado businesses must carry workers’ compensation insurance. The Longmont Chamber is one of only four organizations that offer a workers’ compensation safety program to Colorado businesses. This program is exclusive to Longmont Chamber members and offered in partnership with Pinnacol Assurance.

Protect your employees

Workers’ comp ensures employees receive the care they need to get healthy.

Since businesses can’t be prepared for every possibility, workers’ comp is designed to be there in the event of a workplace-related injury or illness. Workers’ comp covers expenses including but not limited to lost worker wages and ongoing care.

And in the event of an unfortunate work-related fatality, workers’ compensation pays benefits to the employee’s family.

What’s in it for you?

Workers’ compensation insurance is there to protect employers and their injured workers by paying for medical expenses and a portion of lost wages when an employee is injured on the job. Businesses in the program benefit from:

  • 4% upfront premium discount
  • Eligibility for a safety group program dividend
  • Improved risk management and loss control
  • Individualized service from a Pinnacol customer service team
  • Access to safety group program training and materials

Joining this program is not just smart business—it’s essential. Protect your people, your business, and your future.
