The Longmont Chamber is expanding its advocacy work to give local businesses a stronger voice at City Hall and the State Capitol, supported by contract lobbyist Jordan Sanchez and ongoing Policy Committee engagement and city involvement.
At the October 28 City Council meeting, Mayor Peck made a motion amended by Councilmember Hidalgo-Fahring and seconded by Councilmember Crist to “pause taking any action on minimum wage as this Council.” The motion passed unanimously.
