Dan Gust Joins Board of Directors of Rawlins National Bank

 

 

Fred Kelly, Chairman of the Board of Rawlins National Bank, announced that Longmont resident and businessman, Dan Gust, has been elected to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Gust has lived in Longmont, CO since 1984 with his wife, Karen. They have two children, Kirsten and Jason.

 

Dan has an extensive business background. After obtaining his mechanical engineering degree and an MBA, he worked for Winnebago Industries, Texas Instruments and MiniScribe Corporation. The family has been involved in the hardware business in Longmont since 1990, having converted two stores into the current ACE Hardware store located on north Main Street. Dan also recently completed the renovation of a downtown Longmont building into a high quality kitchen supply store, Kitchen Co.

 

Dan has served as a member of the Ace Hardware Board of Directors, with involvement on several committees. In the Longmont community, Dan has been very active, serving on the boards of Longmont United Hospital, Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce, Longmont YMCA, the Longmont Economic Development Partnership, and the Longmont Rotary Club, where he is also a Past President.  In 2011, Dan was elected to the Boulder County Business Hall of Fame.

Rawlins National Bank was charted in 1899 and serves several communities in Colorado and Wyoming. The bank has operated in Longmont since 2008.
